Anuar, a filmmaker from Astana, Kazakhstan, followed his dream of becoming a creative artist, which brought him to Oregon. After completing Multimedia studies at Lane Community College, Anuar worked in the United States as a freelance videographer and editor. While working on commercials and documentaries, making music videos provided a great outlet for experimentation and the search for his creative voice. Creating music videos and working closely with the band "Moonbear" caught the attention of Zachary Neuray, who invited him to be a part of the film No Quiet Hours.
